Hi, my name is Cesare Maccaroni. I was born and raised in Puglia, Italy. My roots shaped who I am and taught me to appreciate the simplest things. Every photograph is an invitation to imagine. Some images are born from stories, others from fleeting moments that simply catch my eye. Some more come from accidents that could never have been planned.
Personally, mistakes are often where the most meaningful images begin, that’s why I exclusively use film cameras. They are part of being human: unpredictable and capable of revealing something real. They bring us back down to earth and remind us that beauty does not always come from control. A misplaced detail, an unexpected shadow sometimes are all it takes to change everything.
